As per my experience, a lot of customers may insist that hardness is not the only factor to value the abrasion resistance of chrome carbide plate. Here now we would like to specify the following aspects :

1. High hardness does not mean high wear resistance
2. The metallographic structure of the hardfacing material determines the wear resistance of wear plate
3. Chemical composition, metallographic structure and volume hardness of carbide affect wear resistance
4. Wear test ASTM G65 is the best way to test wear plate quality.
